“Joy of Engineering” – the Intra College Technical Symposium was conducted on 22nd February, 2020 at Adithya Institute of Technology, to facilitate students to do engineering in a joyful manner. It was inaugurated by four industry personnel from renowned corporates Mr.Charles Godwin, HR – Leader & Public Speaker, ZOHO Corporation, Ms. Krithika Selvaraj, HR – Manager, Pricol Ltd, Er. R.Ramakrishnan, Chairman – Student Chapters, COCENA and Mr. R.Vinothkumar, Manager – HR, McWane India Pvt Ltd. Dr. Chitra Manohar, CEO of the college welcomed the guests and briefed on the purpose of the event. Er. C.Sukumaran, Chairman, delivered the presidential address and expressed his wish to see every student as Entrepreneur. Dr.S.Muthu, Principal, delivered the keynote address. The Guests from various fields addressed the young minds of Adithya. Mr.Charles Godwin, HR – Leader & Public Speaker, ZOHO Corporation, shared his life experience and motivated students to learn engineering with joy. Ms. Krithika Selvaraj, HR – Manager, Pricol Ltd, emphasized her views on Effective communication. According to Er. R.Ramakrishnan, Chairman – Student Chapters, COCENA, Learning is a continuous process and he addressed the students about various opportunities available for Engineers. Mr. R.Vinothkumar, Manager – HR, McWane India Pvt Ltd, asked the students to take fresh initiatives and to have passion in learning. In the next session all the stalwarts shared their views and thoughts to respective departments. Discussions, interactive sessions and display of projects judged by industry personnel ignited the innovative spirit of the students. In the afternoon, 16 Technical events were conducted. Over 1000 entries were registered and 200 prizes were given to the students. At the end of the day students went home bagging hundreds of prizes after a joyful experience.

Naan Mudhalvan Grand Innovation & Skilling Challenge-Niral Thiruvizha(Hackathon)-2023 was launched by our Honourable Chief Minister. The objective of this event is to trigger an innovation mindset among the student community which in turn will develop the skills of our students across various sectors.We have submitted 14 problem statements from 14 teams from various departments. 01 team received Project Grant worth of Rs.10,000/- in the Health/Med Tech category from TNSDC-Naan Muthalvan AU – Niral Thiruvizha (Hackathon). It is a great achievement by our final year students and faculty.
